Beach
At Anaehoomalu Bay, or A-Bay for short.
First time on the beach. Isn't he handsome in his swimsuit? We lucked out that the townhouse we rented had a huge beach umbrella, which we erected for some sun protection for Didi.
And who is this beefcake, you ask? It's PeanutDaddy. Proudly holding Peanut#2.

Sleep
Sleep was definitely different for Didi in Hawaii. He ended up with his own bed room, at least for the first day and night. It didn't last for long. He was not able to sleep well in an unfamiliar place. He couldn't sleep for very long for his naps, or he just couldn't sleep at all. I ended up taking him out, hoping the walk will tire him out. At last, he did fall asleep in my carrier.
The first night, I ended up sleeping with him by holding him half the night until morning.
The second night was a little better. He got to sleep on top of me the whole night. On the third and fourth nights, I held him for a while and was able to lay him down on the bed, and sleep next to him.
Then, he started marathon sleeping. He would sleep from early afternoon until about 4am. I would feed him only once during his sleep. Otherwise, there is not a single peep out of him.
As soon as we got back. He reverted back to his normal routine within a day. Amazing.

Plane
Didi's first trip on an airplane. Got fed before take off. During the entire flight, he alternated between awake and sleep in 45-minute intervals, with feedings in between. Overall, not a bad traveller!

Bumbo
One of our nice neighbors gave Little Peanut this Bumbo chair. I didn't have one for Big Peanut, but had thought it might have been a nice thing to have. Just as I was about to see if I could borrow one from a friend, our neighbor gave this to us.
This chair is certainly useful. Little Peanut can sit in it and not have to lie down, when I am unable to hold him upright. I think he enjoys being in this chair!
Goofy face.

Exersaucer
It took Little Peanut awhile to get used to the Exersaucer. The first time I put him in it, he cried. I had to hold him and play with the various things on the saucer a few times before he "agreed" to go in. When he went in again, he was not very sure if he really wanted to be there.
It took another few tries to get him used to being in the saucer. Then, he decided it's not so bad afterall, and he started playing with the toys. Even with sort of a smile!

Bear Mat
A friend gave our Little Peanut this bear playmat. It is SOOOO plush. I can't stop touching it! I think Little Peanut likes it, too.
