Sleep
Sleep was definitely different for Didi in Hawaii. He ended up with his own bed room, at least for the first day and night. It didn't last for long. He was not able to sleep well in an unfamiliar place. He couldn't sleep for very long for his naps, or he just couldn't sleep at all. I ended up taking him out, hoping the walk will tire him out. At last, he did fall asleep in my carrier.
The first night, I ended up sleeping with him by holding him half the night until morning.
The second night was a little better. He got to sleep on top of me the whole night. On the third and fourth nights, I held him for a while and was able to lay him down on the bed, and sleep next to him.
Then, he started marathon sleeping. He would sleep from early afternoon until about 4am. I would feed him only once during his sleep. Otherwise, there is not a single peep out of him.
As soon as we got back. He reverted back to his normal routine within a day. Amazing.
